Essential oil of lemon (citrus limon) comes from the lemon tree that originates in central Asia, in the north Himalayan region. The trees were brought by Greek and Roman merchants to the West from Persia, and today they are found across the Mediterranean region.
Lemon essential oil is one of the richest in vitamins, containing high levels of vitamins C and A (carotene), and also vitamin B.
